Results for the last week

Saturday U14 Camogie & Hurlers lost their respective games against Naomh Olaf while the U16 Hurlers received a walkover from Naomh Olaf. U13 Girls travelled to Ballyboden St Endas & had a good win. Sunday  U16 Ladies Football had another good win, this time over St Margarets. Both U15 Hurling teams qualified for the Championship knock out stages, 'B' Championship team defeated O'Tooles while the 'D' Championship team lost to Castleknock. Mixed results for our Minor Footballers with a win over St Patricks (D) & a loss to Templeogue Synge St. Our Junior Hurlers were in Championship semi-final action against Commercials on Sunday morning. Harps raced into an early 3 point lead inside the first 15 minutes but Commercials responded with the next 3 scores, including a goal, to lead 1-4 to 0-5 after 20 minute. Harps outscored the visitors 0-5 to 0-2 in the final 10 minutes of the opening half to lead 0-10 to 1-5. Midway through the 2nd half Harps had a 4 point advantage but Commercials to there credit managed to level proceedings just after the 20 minute mark. Once again Harps opened up a 4 point gap heading for injury time but the away side hit an unanswered 1-1 to level the game in injury time. The drama wasn't over as Harps were awarded a free well on their own 65m line &  midfielder Cian Coleman struck what looked like the winning point but once again Commercials leveled the game with a free. Well into injury time Harps were presented with another free & David Graham made no mistake in what was to be the final action of the game. Final Score: Harps 0-24 Commercials 2-17 Congrats to the players & management, they will now play Craobh Chiarain in the Final. The game is provisionally fixed for Saturday September 19th at 5pm in O'Toole Park.
