Weekly Club Notes - 05/03/2023

Fixtures, Results & Training

Another busy weekend for our Juvenile teams, with home & away fixtures on Sat 4th & Sun 5th March. Its great to see our youngest members representing the club with pride every time they take to the field of play, and with the support of their mentors & parents, without whom none of the juvenile activity in the club would be able to happen. Thank you to everyone who gives of their time so generously to our teams week in week out - your efforts are not unrecognised & are very much appreciated.

Yesterday we saw wins recorded for our U15 Girls who travelled out to St Brigids for a Div 5 clash, followed swiftly by our U13 Boys Div 3 Footballers who also played St Brigids and got their first win in the Grading league this season with an impressive team performance.

Mixed fortunes for the U13s, saw the Div 13 lads lose out to Templeogue SS in a tough battle in the Ballast Pit, and similar results for the U14 boys - with a win recorded against St Judes in a home fixture played at Newbridge house and a loss recorded by the team who travelled out to Naomh Olaf.

Our U12 girls travelled to Swords to kick off the 2023 season in style with our new set of fabulous jerseys! Fingallians proved a worthy opponent as we had some super competitive games across our Navy, Blue and White teams. With some great skills and overall team performances both the girls and the mentors were delighted to be back playing matches. Roll on the rest of the 2023 season! See our picture of the week below!

Sunday saw the Senior 1 Footballers face Sylvester in a tricky Div 1 fixture which unfortunately saw the visitors win comprehensively at the game played on our Main pitch.

Thanks to the supporters who came out to watch - great to see the club and surrounds busy for our games. Check out the link Harps Snr V Sylvesters 2303 | Flickr for some great action shots of the match courtesy of Michael Donohue.

The Intermediate Football Team made the short trip up to Finian's (Swords) and brought home the draw.

Full details of all results & upcoming fixtures can be seen on www.skerriesharps.com/fixtures-results & will be posted to our social media channels very Friday evening - no excuse not to drop down and support our players. Training Slots per team can be found at www.skerriesharps.com/training
