Fixtures, Results & Training
Due to the adverse weather conditions during the week, unfortunately the majority of fixtures across the county were cancelled, due to pitch unplayability. Our home juvenile fixtures were called off due to Townparks, Kellys Bay & Ballast Pit unavailable.
On the Adult side we had one fixture fulfilled on Sunday on the main pitch when our AHL4 Team faced off against a very strong Lucan Sarsfields team at midday. The result didn't go our way, but the first 2 fixtures in the league were against two very strong hurling outfits, so we look forward to the next match on 26 March away to St Kevins.
Mentors are advised that as Townparks will be closed until at least next weekend, training slot allocations are impacted. As always please keep an eye on www.skerriesharps.com/training for pitch availability updates
With the Bank holiday weekend approaching there will be a break in fixtures for many teams in the juvenile section , but we will see Adult Football Fixtures take place this coming week so check out www.skerriesharps.com/fixtures-results for all the latest information.

2023 Fashion Show
It was with great excitement that the annual Harps Fashion Show returned after a 3 year break, due to the pandemic/restrictions. A huge amount of work takes place in the background for many months to bring this night together.
Many thanks to Denise & Catherine for their lead roles on the committee, to our amazing team of volunteer models and junior models, to Chris for the sound and music, Ian for being photographer on the night and all our "downstairs" volunteers who ensure the models can take to the catwalk and strut their stuff. Well done also to our busy bar staff on the night who ensured everyone was well looked after and provided great service with a smile ..
To each and every one of you who came along, we hope you had a great night, thanks for your support! Rosie & Dott kindly provided gifts for the first 100 ladies through the door and Lyn @Little Daisy Flowers decorated the club making sure it looked its best for our guests
Finally a massive shout out to our local shops who generously provided their latest styles for our models to show - Philanns/Whizz Kids, Aquila, CocoC, Chic Boutique, Shankeys, Dorian Black, Vero Moda, Vila, Frock &Co & Masita.
Keep an eye on our social media for photos from the event!
We hope all the wonderful ladies who volunteer & support our club enjoyed International Womens Day 2023 on Wed 8 March
Congrats to our Minor Football & Hurling Team member Matthew Weldon on his selection to the Ireland u19 cricket squad for the South Africa tour!
Under 14 Boys team
The boys under 14 team have been very busy over the last few weeks. On Saturday 25 February over 30 boys got on a coach in Skerries Harps GAA Club to make the trip to Croke Park to see Dublin playing in the National League. The boys watched Dublin play Tipperary in hurling and Clare in football and a great evening was had by all of them. The boys were particularly excited to see Bryan Cullen (who helps with the coaching of the under 14 team) and a number of other Skerries Harps players out in Croke Park representing Dublin that evening.
On Saturday 11 March our hurling team had a brilliant experience playing in the National Sports Indoor Centre in Abbottstown. The boys played St Kevin’s Killian’s in a brilliant match with Skerries Harps coming out on top in the end. This is a fantastic facility and the boys look forward to playing there again during the year.
In between these events the boys have been very busy training and playing league matches in football and hurling and have been doing excellently in their respective leagues. Keep up the good work lads!!
